Around the Week with Nellie Quilt Blocks

A set of seven illustrations scanned from a vintage embroidery designs, then carefully restored and enhanced on pc (by me!) to bring them to life. 

The illustrations measure just under 8 x 5" each.  They are printed onto pure cotton sheeting-weight fabric using my trusty laser printer and professional-standard heat press and have a good seam allowance. 

The colours are bright and the fabric is machine washable, though you shouldn't use fabric conditioner.  The image is firm yet very flexible, softening further with each wash. These blocks are great for any number of projects - quilts, cushions, tote bags - your imagination is the only limit!

I used them to make my Nellie the Elephant Quilt and think they look great combined with a selection of vintage and Cath Kidston fabrics.
