Afternoon Nap Embroidery Pattern

A most endearingly cuddly dormouse is snoozing beneath a large toadstool - possibly the very same one that the caterpillar with the hookah sat upon in Alice in Wonderland!

You will receive the dormouse pattern, full instructions for working, hints on transferring the image to fabric and diagrams for working the stitches used, though these are very straightforward.  The image is also supplied in reverse to suit whatever transfer method you decide to use.  It measures approximately 8" square.

I have filled in the dormouse's fur using straight stitches, but he would look just as good worked in outline only if you're in a hurry.  I've also included some hints on working fur so your dormouse will look very realistic.
